Shipping Policy

Unless as otherwise detailed below, orders are dispatched on the same day or within one business day. During sale events & other exceptionally busy times, this may be extended. During these periods, we divert all resources (given we're a small business, that's not a lot!) into picking & packing, and there will be delays to non-critical customer service enquiries.

UK Patch Orders:

  • All orders are shipped via Royal Mail.

International Patch Orders:

  • Our international shipments take between 3-15 days, depending on the country and the distance within that country. 
  • International orders can take up to 30 days if they are delayed. Often, orders need to go through multiple sorting centers and wait for international transport, and it is extremely difficult to predict a delivery date. If you require step-by-step tracking, you must select the "Standard" shipping option at the checkout.
  • "Economy" shipping is sent with a delivery confirmation number, and not a step-by-step tracking number.
  • Please do not contact us until 30 business days have elapsed since your order dispatch email confirmation. We can't see any more information than you can.
  • All orders are shipped out with Royal Mail or Parcelforce but may be passed to a new carrier on the way to you.
  • There may be additional checks at customs and unforeseen delays to your order that are out of our control.

Orders of other products:

  • Orders containing Buddy the Bear and other animals from that range may take up to 5 working days to dispatch, as these are handmade to order.
  • Orders containing "Treat that Hypo!" products will be dispatched within 2 working days.
  • Orders of any type of clothing may take up to 3 working days to be shipped.
  • If your order contains multiple of the above products, the longest dispatch period will apply.
  • It is not possible to expedite these timeframes at all. 
  • If you have purchased a premium shipping service, that does not reduce the dispatch time. That means that when your order is sent, the service is faster.

Tracking Numbers:

  • Unless you have specifically paid for a tracked service, you will not have a step-by-step tracking number, and will just have a delivery confirmation number.
  • Type One Style support, like any retailer, can only see the same information as you on the tracking portal, and do not have access to any other information of any kind about the progress of an order.

Important information:

  • We deliver orders Monday-Friday, and Saturday if you are in the UK.
  • Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding national holidays.
  • We don't deliver on Sundays or national holidays.
  • If you place an order on a weekend or national holiday, we will process your order the next business day.
  • Orders must be delivered to a single address.
  • We will send you an order confirmation email and an email once your order has been dispatched.
    When you purchase or select a shipping service, this is the shipping service we dispatch your order on and pay the carrier to fulfil. The carrier does not guarantee it will meet all service levels and at busy times of the year there may be delays to your order, although it is quite unlikely. These events generally occur when carriers experience major disruption, such as COVID outbreaks in regional parcel sorting centers, or industrial action.
